The area has a rich history of mining, with many other mines and exploration projects in the vicinity. Iberian Occidental is conducting exploration activities to assess the potential for additional gold and silver resources on the property. The project has the potential to become a significant asset, as Nevada is one of the top gold producing states in the United States.
